2 days · from age 7
Does your child want to learn breath-hold diving and discover the fascinating underwater world, but you’re not sure they already have enough independence and skill to move safely underwater? The Breath-Hold Diving Course is just the thing — and definitely fun for the whole family. We properly teach children breath-hold diving, while also introducing them to fish anatomy and species identification along the way.
Requirements for participation: course registration (for minors with parent/guardian consent), a completed health questionnaire, a minimum age of 7, a medical exam for people with cardiovascular or respiratory issues, and the ability to swim 100 metres.
The program has two parts: theoretical (breath-hold diving skills and hazards, getting to know underwater creatures and identifying them) and practical, where what’s learned is applied in the sea, with a wetsuit and weight belt. You’ll need a good mood, a swimsuit and possibly your own gear. The price includes all theory training, rental equipment, the theory exam and practical training in the sea. Duration is about 8 hours — it’s possible to split the program over two days (2× 4 hours) at no extra cost, by prior arrangement.
